Job Description:

Join our team as a CVICU Registered Nurse on a 12-hour night shift, providing specialized care for cardiac patients during their most critical moments. This contract offers a chance to work with ventilated patients, fresh heart cases, and complex devices like Impella, IABP, and CRRT using Prismax. Expect to float across various ICU units, PACU, ED, and IMC, as needed, and gain invaluable experience in post-operative open heart recovery, Swan, Flotrack, Temp Pacers, Alines, and Chest Tubes. With a ratio typically between 1:1 and 1:2, your expertise will be vital in managing a diverse patient mix, including those with chronic and acute renal failure, chest tubes, and lumbar drains. The role is perfect for a seasoned CVICU RN with at least two years of current CVICU experience or SICU background with targeted training.
