Job Description:

Join a renowned Level 1 Trauma Center on a rewarding travel contract as a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse specializing in orthopedic and high-acuity surgical patients. In this role, you will be responsible for managing post-op orthopedic trauma patients, including total joint replacements and ORIF fractures, as well as providing care for patients with diverse surgical needs from eye to gynecological procedures. Expect a lively environment with high patient turnover, frequent blood product administration, and a need for quick mobility skills. Your expertise in trauma, teaching, and patient stabilization will be crucial, with opportunities to float within the PCU floors as needed. Embrace this chance to showcase your acuity and adapt to a fast-paced, high-volume setting for a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.
