Job Description:

Join a dedicated clinical team as a Physical Therapist in an acute inpatient setting in Colorado Springs. This role involves managing a diverse caseload of approximately 7-9 patients on an 8-hour shift or 8-10 patients on a 10-hour shift. You'll work closely with experienced rehab techs and be paired with a lead PT during orientation to ensure a smooth transition into the team. The position emphasizes hands-on treatment of patients with a variety of diagnoses including post-surgical, trauma, neuro, and medical conditions such as COPD, CHF, and cardiac issues. Expect to be treating patients in areas like ortho/spine, general medical, surgical wards, ICU, and intermediate care, making each day varied and engaging. The schedule offers flexibility with either Tuesday-Saturday or Wednesday-Saturday shifts, and requires working every Saturday with holiday coverage including Memorial Day. Successful candidates will hold a current Colorado PT license and BLS certification.
