Job Description:

This assignment offers a hands-on opportunity in the Neuro ICU, where you will be managing critically ill neurologic patients with complex needs. The role requires expertise in ventilator management, ventriculostomies, stroke protocols—including TPA administration—and advanced line care such as arterial and central lines. You will be responsible for titrating drips based on physician orders and interpreting Phillips telemetry monitors. The shift is 12 hours overnight, providing a focused environment where you can apply your skills in a high-acuity setting. Expect to collaborate with charge nurses and house supervisors, troubleshoot equipment including vents and telemetry, and work with a dedicated team of patient care techs and RTs.
