Job Description:

Join a specialized healthcare team as a Registered Nurse working in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on a 12-hour night shift schedule. In this role, you'll care for adult and geriatric patients primarily diagnosed with acute leukemia and hematology conditions. No chemotherapy certification is required for this assignment, making it accessible for experienced nurses looking to expand their expertise. You’ll be tasked with managing telemetry monitoring, interpreting dysrhythmias, and maintaining central and peripheral lines, all while emphasizing infection prevention and fall prevention protocols. The position offers a flexible schedule with the opportunity to self-request preferred days off and rotate between day and night shifts based on department needs. The first week includes dayshift orientation, followed by on-unit training with a preceptor. This assignment provides a unique chance to work in a fast-paced environment focused on acute leukemia care, where your skills in IV therapy, blood product administration, and rapid response teamwork will be essential.
