Job Description:

This ICU Registered Nurse role offers the chance to work in a busy Level II Trauma Center located in Bangor, Maine. You'll be immersed in a fast-paced environment, managing medical, surgical, trauma, neuro, ortho, and interventional patients. Expect to monitor ICP, manage external ventricular drains, and care for patients with conditions like sepsis, ARDS, COVID, PNA, COPD, and stroke. The shift is a 12-hour night schedule, where you'll collaborate with a dedicated team including resource nurses, intensivists, and in-house RTs and hospitalists. Your expertise in neuro and trauma patient management, ventilator support, critical care drips, and stroke care will be essential. This assignment is perfect for first-time travelers with at least two years of ICU experience eager to expand their critical care skills in a vibrant hospital setting.
