Job Description:

Join a busy Operating Room team as an OR Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a prestigious teaching and magnet hospital in Glenview, Illinois. You’ll be working in a fast-paced setting with 16 operating rooms, specializing in ophthalmology and vascular surgeries. This role involves scrubbing and circulating for complex cases like endovascular procedures, cataract extractions, and vascular repairs. Expect a schedule of 8-hour days, with the opportunity to experience diverse surgical cases, collaborate with skilled professionals, and enjoy the satisfaction of supporting critical surgical interventions. Call shifts are pre-assigned, and you’ll have the chance to pick up weekend days and holiday work if desired. This position offers a chance to hone specialized skills in a supportive environment where a minimum of 2 years of OR experience, including vascular and ophthalmology, is required.
