Job Description:

This contract position places you in an Emergency Department (ED) holding area, where you'll be managing MS and PCU style patients in a boarding setting. The role involves working on a 12-hour day shift, with a focus on team nursing, delegating tasks to LPNs and CNAs, and adapting to fluctuating bed counts of up to 10 beds. You will handle stable patients boarding from the ED until they are discharged or transferred, with occasional float to inpatient PCU units when needed. The experience offers a unique chance to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, where your expertise in patient management and team coordination will be key.
