Job Description:

Join a specialized unit focused on adult oncology patients receiving complex medication and blood product therapies. This role involves working on a 36-bed unit that handles high-acuity cases, including chemotherapy administration (although travelers do not administer chemo directly). As a traveler, you will be responsible for caring for up to five Med Surg patients, often floating to different units within the hospital based on staffing needs. The position offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in a multi-care level environment with a variety of patient conditions, utilizing EPIC charting and requiring prior solid RN experience in large hospital settings. Prepare for frequent float shifts and a schedule that includes weekend days and nights, along with working two-thirds of major holidays. It’s an engaging role for RNs who thrive in fast-paced, diverse clinical settings without the need to administer chemo but with drips required on all floors.
