Job Description:

Join a cardiac-focused stepdown unit in Washington, D.C., where you’ll be working on a 48-bed facility specializing in cardiac and pulmonary care. This assignment involves night shifts with 12-hour overnight hours, providing an opportunity to become deeply familiar with cardiac telemetry, vasculature diagnoses, and post-surgical recovery. You'll monitor frequent IV drips such as Heparin, Milrinone, Lasix, and Bumex, while managing patients with conditions like CHF, NSTEMI, arrhythmias, and vascular surgery recovery. As part of your role, you'll utilize Cerner EMR in a fast-paced, specialized setting that values your advanced skills and knowledge of cardiac telemetry.
