Job Description:

This medical-surgical RN position places you in an acute care surgical and bariatric unit, working a 36-hour weekly schedule with every other weekend. You'll be floating across different areas as needed, with a focus on providing top-notch care under a 1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio. The role involves night shifts of 12 hours from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, offering a unique chance to hone your skills in a fast-paced environment while enjoying the tranquility of night hours. Start your journey with a comprehensive online orientation, including 16 hours of non-billable training on Sundays, and get ready to support both experienced staff and future nurses through clinical education. This assignment is perfect for travelers with at least two years of MS/Telemetry experience, BLS certification, and the ability to live within 100 miles of Kingsport, Tennessee. Flexibility in scheduling is built in, with optional overtime shifts to match hospital needs—all within a contract that values your expertise and dedication.
