Job Description:

This RN contract offers the opportunity to work in a medical ward with a patient load that includes both acute and chronic illnesses, primarily focusing on medical rather than surgical cases. As a travel nurse in this role, you will be managing a variety of conditions such as sepsis, infectious diseases, kidney issues requiring dialysis, diabetes management, gastrointestinal disturbances, fluid and electrolyte imbalances, liver disease, substance misuse, and respiratory illnesses like COPD and pneumonia. The shift features 12-hour nights, providing a chance to experience a different work rhythm and enjoy quiet hours. This assignment is ideal for nurses who thrive on a mix of clinical challenges and a supportive environment, with the chance to hone skills like managing drips, central lines, chest tubes, respiratory devices, and complex wound care. Expect to work with adult patients at a nationally recognized medical center, gaining valuable experience across multiple specialties and patient needs.
