Job Description:

This neurological patient care role involves working in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a busy hospital, focusing on adult patients with neurological conditions such as stroke, neurosurgical recovery, and epilepsy. The night shift, running 3 days a week from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, offers the chance to collaborate with a skilled team, monitor cardiac rhythms, manage IV therapies, and support patients with respiratory needs. You'll be using EPIC for charting, so familiarity with electronic medical records is essential. Unique to this position is the dedicated epilepsy monitoring unit, giving you the opportunity to work with specialized neurology patients and see continuous EEG data. Floating to other units within your skillset may be required, providing variety and additional experience in neuro-critical care.
