Job Description:

Step into a specialized role supporting open heart surgeries in the CVOR at a prominent medical center. You'll primarily work during 12-hour night shifts, providing dedicated assistance with adult cardiac procedures such as CABG and valve repairs. Your expertise with scrub duties in open CVOR cases, along with familiarity with devices like Impella and HeartMate, will be essential. This contract offers a unique chance to gain hands-on experience in high-stakes cardiac operations, including TAVR and ECMO, often performing circulating and scrubbing roles. Floating to the Main OR when no CVOR cases are scheduled adds variety to your nightly routine. Expect to contribute to complex surgeries in a fast-paced environment, utilizing EPIC charting and collaborating closely with a seasoned team of cardiac professionals.
