Job Description:

Join a dedicated team as a Travel Labor & Delivery RN on a 13-week night shift assignment at a facility in Scranton, Pennsylvania. This role involves providing direct nursing care for antepartum, intrapartum, surgical (RN circulates), and PACU recovery of both patients and neonates. The shift runs from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. every other weekend and every other holiday, with floating to other units as needed. You’ll be working in a busy environment with 11 beds in the unit, including triage, PACU, and operating rooms. The assignment offers a competitive rate of $90 per hour, with a guaranteed weekly gross of approximately $2,030. Expect a workload centered around 1-2 laboring patients per shift, requiring recent L&D experience and necessary certifications such as BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Basic Arrhythmia Course. The role is ideal for experienced RNs comfortable in a fast-paced setting who want to make a difference during a critical life event, all while experiencing the unique rhythm of this Pennsylvania city.
