Job Description:

This emergency department travel assignment offers an engaging opportunity for seasoned RNs to work in a fast-paced Level II trauma center. The shift structure consists of 12-hour days, with rotations including day, evening, and overnight shifts. You will be responsible for managing high-acuity patients presenting with diverse conditions such as chest pain, stroke, traumas, sepsis, and behavioral health emergencies. The role emphasizes purposeful patient rounding and utilizing TeleHealth services, providing a modern twist to traditional emergency care. Expect to work alongside a charge nurse, with a focus on teamwork, quick thinking, and compassionate patient interaction. No clinical involvement or patient care responsibilities outside of emergency treatments are required, making it a specialized, non-patient care role tailored for experienced emergency nurses.
