Job Description:

This NICU Registered Nurse position centers around the care of fragile newborns in a Level III NICU setting. You will attend deliveries—both vaginal and cesarean—and assist with the transition of newborns into and out of the NICU. Your role includes admitting neonates to the unit, discharging them home, and coordinating comprehensive care with the healthcare team, which may involve educating parents about neonatal needs and supporting breastfeeding. The assignment offers a chance to work with diverse, critically-ill infants, often managing ventilators, IVs, and central lines, while also performing procedures like chest tube insertions, PICC placements, and assisting with imaging and other diagnostic tests. Expect to float to the newborn nursery when needed, providing stable, compassionate care across multiple neonatal care settings. This role combines technical skill with nurturing support in a fast-paced environment where your expertise makes a real difference.
