Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract offers an engaging opportunity for nurses to work in a well-equipped Medical-Surgical unit within a busy hospital setting. Your responsibilities will include assisting providers with bedside procedures such as IV insertions, wound vacs, chest tubes, and thoracentesis. You'll be supporting general medical patients with diagnoses ranging from COPD exacerbations and sepsis to post-operative care for abdominal surgeries. The shift is 12-hour days on weekends only, providing a great chance to enjoy weekdays off. Expect to work with a team of dedicated staff, managing a patient load of about 5 to 6 per nurse, in a setting that values teamwork and flexibility. You'll use your expertise to help deliver quality patient care and support a variety of treatments, including ICU-like procedures, bedside care, and medication administration with equipment like infusion pumps and glucose monitors.
