Job Description:

Join a dedicated team of OB nurses at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, where you'll be supervising a lively labor and delivery unit with approximately 112 deliveries each month. This contract opportunity involves 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, with working every third weekend and alternate holiday rotations. You’ll be responsible for providing expert care during labor, assisting with delivery procedures, and supporting postpartum recovery in a bustling 11-bed L&D unit. This assignment is ideal for experienced OB RNs with at least two years of L&D background who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable navigating EPIC electronic charting. Your expertise will be a vital part of supporting mothers through their most memorable moments in a setting that combines both teamwork and independence. The role includes minimal on-call work during low census periods, and call back pay is provided if called in. Be prepared to wear a mask during flu season if you opt out of COVID or flu vaccinations, as per hospital policy. Experience and certifications like AHA or ARC BLS and Advanced NRP are required to ensure safe, high-quality care.
