Job Description:

Join a busy ICU unit in Rapid City, South Dakota, for a 13-week travel assignment with 12-hour night shifts. This role is designed for experienced Critical Care RNs who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy managing complex cases such as trauma, cardiac events, or post-surgical recovery. You will be caring for patients with diagnoses including ARDS, MI, CVA/TIA, COVID-19, and trauma, working within a mixed ICU pod that emphasizes teamwork and acute assessment skills. The assignment offers an opportunity to work with advanced equipment like Epic electronic charting, hemodynamic lines, ventilators, and even Impella or CRRT devices, with support from dedicated staff including nurse aides, physicians, and RTs. Note that prior ICU travel experience is a prerequisite, and comfort with Epic, IV medications, prone positioning, and ventilator management is essential. This unique opportunity allows you to demonstrate your critical thinking and adaptability while contributing to a dedicated team on a well-established unit.
