Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract offers a steady night shift opportunity for a skilled PCU Registered Nurse prepared to work 12-hour night shifts on a 36/36 schedule. The role involves floating to different units within the facility, with a focus on maintaining patient safety under a 1:7 MS ratio when floated. Expect a rotation with no-call nights and weekend work, providing a well-structured schedule that keeps fatigue manageable. The position emphasizes the importance of supporting nursing students and participating in clinical education alongside patient care. Successful candidates will have at least two years of experience, current AHA BLS certification, and ideally some telemedicine background. Travel nurses must reside within 100 miles of Johnson City, Tennessee, to ensure smooth onboarding and compliance. The general orientation begins typically on Sundays via online CBLs, with flexible start dates as long as all compliance documents are completed on time. Additional shifts and overtime may be available to accommodate census changes, providing potential for extra earnings in a stable environment.
