Job Description:

This obstetric unit offers a fulfilling opportunity for experienced registered nurses to engage in a specialized role involving antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care. You will be responsible for circulating during cesarean sections and managing fetal monitoring with GE Centricity system. Working 12-hour night shifts within a 7a-7p and 7p-7a schedule, you'll support women through their childbirth journey, with a focus on ensuring safety and comfort. The setting features advanced equipment such as Cpap, Bipap, and Vent, and maintains a close collaboration with OB techs and the in-house neonatologist team. This assignment offers the chance to operate within the AWHONN guidelines, experience a variety of diagnoses including gestational hypertension and preeclampsia, and handle titratable drips like oxytocin and insulin. Prepare for a role that combines clinical expertise with the occasional adrenaline rush of obstetric emergencies, all within a supportive environment.
