Join a high-acuity Med Surg Intermediate Care unit in Wausau for a 13-week travel assignment that combines the intensity of a busy hospital setting with the opportunity to sharpen your skills in a fast-paced environment. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, providing specialized nursing care to a variety of complex patients including trauma, stroke, and post-surgical cases. The role involves managing ventilator and tracheostomy patients, and you'll be floating across inpatient units as needed, often to higher acuity areas, keeping your skills sharp and your days interesting.
