Job Description:

This ICU/PCU travel nursing assignment in State College involves providing advanced critical care to patients across pediatric to geriatric populations. The role focuses on assessing critically ill patients, developing and executing comprehensive care plans, and responding swiftly to life-threatening emergencies such as cardiac arrhythmias. Preference will be given to travelers with EPIC experience, as the hospital transitions from Meditech to EPIC, highlighting an opportunity to work with new healthcare technology. Expect to handle complex cases, assist with procedures like temporary pacemaker insertions, and collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure patient stability during 12-hour night shifts.
