Job Description:

Join our team as a registered nurse on a 28-bed PCU with a focus on oncology and trauma care. This contract offers a unique opportunity to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced environment where you'll handle chemotherapy, heparin, and Cardizem drips, as well as monitor ventilators and hemodynamic parameters like CVP, Aline, Swan, and EV-1000. You'll be supported by an experienced team, including charge nurses and additional support staff, with a patient ratio of 1:4 on PCU and 1:5 on med/surg. The assignment emphasizes teamwork and compassion, with a chance to gain valuable oncology and trauma experience—perhaps even for first-time travelers—while working in a unit that values respect, diversity, and quality care. The role includes a two-day orientation, and you will be expected to verify certifications in ACLS and BLS, as well as be familiar with EPIC EMR and Alaris IV pumps.
