Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract offers an opportunity for experienced ICU nurses to step into a fast-paced Medical Surgical Cardiac ICU setting in Grand Island, Nebraska. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population, including young adults to geriatrics, with diagnoses ranging from sepsis and STEMI to respiratory failure and neurosurgical cases. The role involves managing complex cases such as balloon pumps, Impella devices, and neuromonitoring, often involving titrated drips and ventilator troubleshooting. The shift is 12-hour nights, and you'll be expected to adapt quickly to a monitoring-focused environment that emphasizes bedside shift reports and hourly rounding. This assignment is particularly suited for proactive nurses who seek continuous learning, critical thinking, and embracing a culturally diverse community where communication and compassion are key.
