Job Description:

This assignment places you in a fast-paced, high-acuity unit where you'll be managing post-procedural cardiac patients, including those after MI, cardiac caths, and CABG surgeries. You'll work the overnight 12-hour night shift, providing advanced nursing care in MedSurg Tele and PCU units across both campuses. Your role involves interpreting cardiac strips, titrating medications such as Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and Insulin, and collaborating with nurse aides and monitor techs. The setting offers a unique blend of inpatient care with a focus on cardiac and geriatric patients, requiring alertness and proficiency in managing complex drips. Your work will help ensure smooth patient transitions from procedural areas to recovery, all while navigating a busy, supportive environment that emphasizes teamwork and expertise. This role offers a chance to sharpen your critical thinking and procedural skills in a setting that values experienced, adaptable RNs.
