Job Description:

Join the surgical team in New Orleans for a 12-hour day shift as an OR Tech specializing in surgical services. You'll be critical to supporting various surgeries, including vascular, robotic, abdominal, and orthopedic procedures. Some shifts may require you to be part of an emergency response team, staying on site during urgent events to ensure continuity of care. Experience in peripheral vascular and hybrid OR settings is essential, along with proficiency in diverse surgical interventions such as endovascular AAA repairs, carotid procedures, fem-pop bypasses, and laparoscopic surgeries. Prepare to provide relief across multiple service lines, including general, robotics, and orthopedics. This role demands at least three years of experience and certification in BLS and NBSTSA/NCCT. You will be working 36 hours per week over a 13-week period with a pay of approximately $1,408 weekly gross. The unit values experienced travelers who can confidently handle a variety of complex surgical cases, as first-time travelers are not accepted for this assignment. The unit may require you to participate in emergency calls and be flexible with reporting if needed.
