Job Description:

Join our team as a medical-surgical RN on a 12-hour night shift at a bustling hospital in Alexandria, Louisiana. This contract role offers an opportunity to work in a well-equipped unit that regularly utilizes IV pumps, wound vacs, telemetry, and other advanced medical devices. You'll be responsible for supporting the care of a diverse patient population, performing wound care, IV insertions, and Foley catheter placements, all while collaborating closely with a dedicated team of nurses, LPNs, PCTs, and staff. The role emphasizes critical thinking and teamwork, with a standard nurse-to-patient ratio of 6:1. This assignment provides an engaging environment where your skills directly impact patient outcomes during evening hours that foster close-knit teamwork.
