Job Description:

Join the cardiac telemetry team at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, where you'll be implementing your cardiac nursing expertise in a fast-paced, high patient turnover environment. This 13-week contract offers the opportunity to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), float to various inpatient units, and handle complex post-op cardiac cases including CABG, Valve surgeries, and arrhythmia management. The role requires proven experience in cardiac step-down, ICU, or intermediate care units and familiarity with medications such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro drips. You'll be instrumental in caring for a 44-bed unit with a patient ratio of approximately 1:4, covering diverse cardiac and medical-surgical conditions. This assignment is perfect for resilient, independent nurses ready to manage a dynamic workload and contribute to patient recovery during these critical hours.
