Job Description:

Join us for an exciting travel radiology assignment in Santa Cruz, where you'll work as a radiologic technologist specializing in advanced imaging procedures. This role involves managing and operating Siemens Sensation 64 and GE Light Speed 16 scanners, performing a variety of high-quality scans including ER imaging, Virtual Colonography, and gated procedures. You'll work exclusively during 8-hour night shifts, providing crucial imaging support in a fast-paced environment with a focus on efficiency and accuracy. The busy evenings offer a chance to hone your skills in a lively clinical setting, with ratios typically ranging from 10 to 20 scans depending on the shift. Expect to navigate EMR systems like Cerner and McKesson PACS, coordinate with hospitalist or intensivist teams, and adhere to hospital protocols. This assignment also includes floating to different floors with necessary orientation and a chance to utilize your management experiences. It’s a great opportunity to work in a setting where your expertise makes a real difference, with coverage of ER patients, virtual colonographies, and complex gated procedures—all in a vibrant city surrounded by seaside beauty.
