Job Description:

Join a 42-bed Medical Surgical unit specializing in post-surgical care for adults to geriatrics. As a registered nurse in this role, you'll manage a patient load with a 1:6 ratio, working primarily with orthopedic, urology, colorectal, bariatric, neurology, and general surgery patients. The shift is scheduled for 12-hour days, giving you ample time to focus on each patient while still enjoying your days off. You'll utilize Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems to coordinate care and ensure smooth communication. This assignment offers the opportunity to work within a friendly team in a fast-paced setting, with a schedule that requires floating within the facility as needed. The role also involves working some major holidays, with expectations set clearly to fit your availability. RTO is limited to a maximum of seven days, with specific blackout dates during spring break.
