Job Description:

Join our team as a PACU Registered Nurse in Anchorage, Alaska, for an engaging 13-week contract. This role offers the opportunity to work three 12-hour shifts per week, with flexible start times ranging from early morning to late evening, providing a varied schedule. You will be responsible for overseeing post-anesthesia recovery in a state-of-the-art Magnet hospital, ensuring patient safety and comfort during their immediate recovery phase. This assignment is unique for its focus on PACU Phase II and Peds PACU experience, with a chance to handle diverse cases in a Level II trauma center. Standard duties involve monitoring patients as they awaken from anesthesia, managing complications, and ensuring smooth transitions to next steps of care. The role requires certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and an active Alaska RN license. This position offers guaranteed hours with some flexibility, and you'll be working in a facility renowned for its quality care and advanced healthcare technology.
