Job Description:

Join a dedicated team of Respiratory Therapists in this night shift contract at a reputable healthcare facility in Columbus, Georgia. You'll be responsible for managing non-invasive and conventional ventilation, performing arterial blood gases, aerosol therapy, bedside pulmonary function tests, and working with a range of patient populations from infants to geriatrics, primarily focusing on adult respiratory therapy but also assisting with pediatric intubated patients. This role offers a hands-on experience in a trauma and stroke-certified level 2 trauma center with a busy NICU serving as the regional transport resource. Your expertise will be essential in managing complex respiratory cases, including managing arterial lines and oxygen therapy, within a technologically advanced environment using Epic, Pyxis, Viasys, GE Carescape, and other sophisticated systems. Expect to work every other weekend, be floating within the facility or to sister campuses as needed, and work with a slate of experienced healthcare professionals committed to quality care.
