Job Description:

Join a 31-bed Medical Surgical unit specializing in general surgery, urology, gynecology, and bariatric procedures. As a registered nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing care to patients undergoing a variety of surgeries, including bariatric and thyroidectomies, bowel interventions, and urological procedures. The work involves managing patients through pre- and postoperative phases, assisting with voiding trials, and supporting patients with complex surgical needs. This assignment features 12-hour day shifts, offering an opportunity to immerse yourself in a focused surgical environment while enjoying a balanced work schedule. Experience in bariatric surgery, thyroid surgery, or bowel obstruction is preferred, and a minimum of two years of clinical practice is required.
