Job Description:

Join a reputable hospital in Kansas City as a PCU Registered Nurse, where you'll be vital in caring for intermediate and ventilated patients with complex respiratory needs. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to work with high-acuity cases, including pulmonary valve placements and trach care, all while honing your ventilator management skills. Expect to interpret dysrhythmias, manage cardiac drips, and handle diverse GI, GU, and renal procedures. The role involves floating across units within your scope, ensuring comprehensive experience while maintaining a professional and collaborative team environment. With a focus on patient safety and efficient workflow, you'll get hands-on experience with advanced respiratory equipment such as CPAP, BIPAP, HFNC, and chest tubes, in a facility recognized for excellence as a Magnet-Awarded hospital.
