Job Description:

Join a dedicated team in a 26-bed intermediate care unit within a prestigious tertiary care hospital located in Rochester, NY. As a PCU RN, you'll be responsible for managing adult patients requiring advanced monitoring and interventions beyond general med-surg care. The role involves interpreting dysrhythmias, administering medications via IV, managing airway support with non-invasive devices, and utilizing Epic electronic charting. Your work will include caring for patients transferred from emergency departments, ICUs, and post-anesthesia units, all while providing compassionate, evidence-based care in a step-down setting. This assignment offers the chance to experience a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment where every shift keeps you engaged and your skills sharp. The schedule is a 4x12-hour nights shift, and prior experience with cardiac monitoring, emergency response, and Epic is essential.
