Job Description:

This opportunity places you in the bustling environment of the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at a reputable healthcare facility in Morgantown, West Virginia. As a PACU RN, you'll be responsible for monitoring patients emerging from anesthesia following a variety of surgical procedures such as T&A, gastroscopies, LAP appendectomy, urology, and orthopedic cases. Your role involves caring for postoperative patients with patient ratios of 1:1 during Phase 1 recovery, 1:2 in Phase 2, and 1:3 to 1:5 in pre-op. This assignment provides a well-rounded experience in managing diverse case types, including ICU recoveries and pediatrics, with the opportunity to work with EPIC EMR and some BIPAP/CPAP equipment. Whether you're adjusting monitors or assisting with patient transitions, your expertise ensures each patient receives attentive, professional care. The schedule includes rotating 10-hour shifts, with self-scheduled call hours, offering flexibility and variety in your workweek.
