Job Description:

Join a busy 42-bed Medical Surgical unit where you'll be working alongside experienced colleagues to care for adult to geriatric patients recovering from various surgical procedures. This role involves managing post-surgical patients including orthopedic, urology, colorectal, bariatric, neurology, and general surgery cases. You'll be expected to handle a patient load with a 1:6 ratio, utilizing systems like Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR to ensure smooth and efficient patient management. The schedule consists of 12-hour day shifts, and floating within the facility is required to meet patient care needs. This assignment offers a chance to sharpen your clinical skills while working in a fast-paced hospital environment that values precision and teamwork.
