Job Description:

Join our team as a PACU Registered Nurse in Easton, Maryland, and experience the lively rhythm of perioperative recovery care. This contract role involves providing specialized post-anesthesia care for pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients in a setting that keeps the pulse of recovery flowing from 7:30 AM to 8:30 PM. As a PACU RN, you'll navigate various shift lengths—either 8 or 10 hours—including day shifts that can be scheduled between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM, with the flexibility to adapt within the open hours of the PACU. This position offers a unique blend of hands-on patient monitoring, ensuring smooth transitions for patients emerging from anesthesia, all while managing your responsibilities across different units within the facility. The role is dynamic and requires adaptability with floating within the specialty, plus being on-call every few weekends and during holidays. It's an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse to refine their perioperative skills and provide critical post-op support in a fast-paced environment.
