Job Description:

Join our team in the Weinberg Surgical ICU, a vibrant 20-bed adult unit that handles a wide variety of post-surgical and ICU patients, including Trauma, GI Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Transplant, Vascular, ENT, and General Surgery. As a registered nurse on this contract, you'll be responsible for providing specialized care to critically ill patients, managing complex interventions, and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams. The shifts are 12-hour nights, offering a steady rhythm and the opportunity to immerse yourself fully in the intensive care environment. Expect to rotate through orientations on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month, ensuring you’re well-supported in your role. This assignment offers a chance to hone your critical care skills while experiencing the energetic atmosphere of a busy surgical ICU. Float as needed within the unit to support team needs and patient acuity.
