Job Description:

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for an engaging 13-week contract in Kansas City. This role involves providing specialized care for patients post-bariatric, urologic, hepatobiliary, colorectal, and trauma surgeries, many of whom require complex wound management, drainage systems, and pain control methods like epidurals and PCA. You'll work night shifts—three 12-hour nights per week—in a fast-paced environment where your skills in interpreting dysrhythmias, managing IV lines, and responding to rapid response or code situations will be essential. Expect to float within scope and support various departments based on patient needs. This unique assignment offers a chance to refine your expertise while experiencing the vibrant heart of Kansas City.
