Job Description:

Join a dedicated team at the Birthing Center in Silverdale, WA, for a rewarding travel nursing experience focusing on high-risk obstetrics and labor/delivery support. This 13-week assignment offers an opportunity to work in a busy unit with approximately 150-180 deliveries per month, including C-sections and routine births. You will be circulating independently during deliveries, assisting with newborn catch, and supporting postpartum care, all while following established guidelines for ratios and safety protocols. The role involves managing high-risk patients with conditions like preeclampsia and diabetes, and titrating drips such as magnesium, Pitocin, and insulin. Work with advanced monitoring equipment—including fetal and neonatal systems—and collaborate with an in-house team of OB/GYNs, anesthesiologists, and neonatologists. The schedule consists of 12-hour night shifts, with alternating weekends, holidays, and on-call duties, providing a balanced and dynamic work environment.
