Job Description:

This contract position as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in PET/CT offers a hands-on experience in a busy academic medical center setting. You will be responsible for performing advanced imaging procedures, including venipuncture, operating Siemens Biograph CT 64, and handling radiopharmaceuticals like FDG, Amyvid, and Dotatate. The role involves detailed image processing, managing PACS uploads, and adhering strictly to radiation safety protocols, making every day both challenging and rewarding. Training is comprehensive, with the first two weeks dedicated to early mornings, giving you a solid foundation to excel in this specialized environment. No on-call duties are required, allowing for a clear work-life balance in this unique assignment.
