Job Description:

Join our Medical Rehabilitation Unit inside a busy Trauma hospital as a Physical Therapist. This role involves working with stroke patients—approximately 40% of the caseload—on a 5-day, 8-hour daytime schedule. You'll be responsible for evaluating and treating patients, managing a maximum of five per day, with each session lasting around 90 minutes. The setting provides a fantastic opportunity to collaborate closely with a dedicated team, utilizing Cerner charting, and contributing to patient recovery journeys in a fast-paced, yet supportive environment. Expect a role that blends hands-on rehabilitation work with some creative touches, like tie-dyeing your unit T-shirts in your free time. This assignment offers a chance to make a meaningful impact while gaining invaluable experience in stroke rehab within a trauma hospital setting.
