Job Description:

This orthopedic registered nurse position involves providing specialized care to adult and geriatric patients recovering from surgeries such as joint replacements, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasties. You'll work on a 29-bed unit that seamlessly combines medical-surgical and orthopedic services, with telemetry monitoring available. The role includes night shifts scheduled for 12 hours each, with opportunities to float as needed and serve as Charge RN when required. Unique to this assignment is the close collaboration with physical therapy staff within the unit, which promotes proactive recovery without patient transfer. Expect to handle a high patient volume during your shift, focusing on efficient, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
