Job Description:

Join a high-energy Labor and Delivery unit in Seattle as a registered nurse, where you will play a vital role during the delivery process and continue providing newborn care until transfer to postpartum. This 13-week travel contract features night shifts (12 hours) every other weekend and holidays, offering the chance to experience the thrill of working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment with a focus on high-risk pregnancies and neonatal care. Your expertise in electronic fetal monitoring, postpartum, antepartum, and newborn assessments will be essential, particularly with procedures like administering magnesium sulfate, insulin, or heparin, and performing newborn eyes, thighs, and assessment care. If you thrive under pressure and have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of high-risk labor and delivery experience with recent supervisory references, this assignment is a unique opportunity to hone your skills while exploring the vibrant city of Seattle.
