Job Description:

This RN position in Medical-Surgical units offers a hands-on experience managing a diverse patient population with conditions ranging from chronic illnesses like COPD, Diabetes, CHF, and end-stage renal disease to gastrointestinal issues such as pancreatitis, bleeding, and inflammatory bowel diseases. You'll also care for patients with infections, neurological concerns, and mental health disorders, performing assessments, care planning, and executing procedures like colonoscopies, thoracentesis, and minor surgeries. Expect to utilize equipment such as IV pumps, wound vacs, feeding tubes, chest tubes, and telemetry monitors, maintaining communication with a multidisciplinary team and documenting via Epic electronic health records. The role is perfect for a nurse with at least 1.5 years of experience in a Level 1, Level 2, or tertiary hospital and minimum one year in a facility with over 600 beds.
