Job Description:

This Medsurg RN role in Fort Wayne offers a chance to work across various general medical and surgical units, providing care to a diverse patient population. You'll be managing patients with chronic conditions like COPD, Diabetes, CHF, and end-stage renal disease, while also handling acute issues such as infections, neurological injuries, and mental health disorders. The assignment involves performing assessments, care planning, and utilizing a range of equipment including EHR systems, IV pumps, wound vacs, and telemetry monitors. It's a hands-on role that keeps you engaged with procedures like IV management, wound care, and managing IV drips, all within a collaborative team setting. The job offers a unique opportunity to work in a large hospital environment, where your skills directly impact patient outcomes in complex medical scenarios.
