Job Description:

Join a dedicated team as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse in Augusta, Georgia, for a rewarding travel assignment. You’ll be working 12-hour day shifts, providing care to adult and geriatric patients in a 33-bed unit that features both medical surgical and remote telemetry services. Your responsibilities will include managing a patient load with diagnoses such as diabetes, post-op recovery, wound vacs, and bariatric conditions. This role offers a unique opportunity to utilize your skills in a busy hospital setting while operating with a manageable patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5-6. Expect to work every other weekend and potentially be asked to float within your scope of practice. The unit relies on Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems, and requires Navy Blue scrubs. If you’re compliant with certifications such as BLS and have at least one year of recent experience, this role is perfect for you to make an impact in a dynamic environment.
